Eduroam network availability

A wireless network is currently under construction at Poznan University of Medical Sciences. In the first phase, network access will be limited to selected areas of key University facilities, i.e.:

• Collegium Stomatologicum on the corner of Bukowska and Przybyszewskiego Streets,
• Library-Congress Center at 37 Przybyszewskiego St., including the new Main University Library,
• Collegium Anatomicum at 6 Swiecickiego St.,
• Collegium Chemicum at 6 Grunwaldzka St.,
• Foreign Languages Study Center at 27 Marcelinska St.,
• Examination Center at 2 Parkowa St.,
• Center for Medical Education in English at 41 Jackowskiego St.

Each of the locations listed above will offer access to a wireless network called `eduroam`. Eduroam users will have free internet access anywhere a wireless network called `eduroam` is active, not only in University facilities, but in each institution, in each city in each country in the world where they can detect a network named like that. Following high popularity among users the network will be successively extended to cover new locations within University-owned facilities. It is intended to serve as the main medium for internet access in PUMS public locations.
